Who We Support

Pilar’s Foundation is proud to support the following organizations:

Doctors Without Borders

The mission of Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is to deliver medical relief to people affected by conflict, epidemics, disasters, or exclusion from health care, without regard to race, religion, or political affiliation. Previously, we have partnered with DWB to raise funds for Yemen Relief and Turkey-Syria earthquake relief. We are currently starting to organize and coordinate a fundraiser to support DWB to aid their Gaza Relief operations.

Jewish Family Services of Washtenaw County

Jewish Family Services of Washtenaw County is a private non-profit social services agency serving the greater Ann Arbor community since 1993. Originally established by the Jewish Federation of Washtenaw County to assist the growing number of refugee families in Ann Arbor from the former Soviet Republics, JFS has since grown into an organization providing programs and services ranging from older adult caregiving to immigrant resettlement and career services.

Michigan Immigrant Rights Center

The Michigan Immigrant Rights Center (MIRC) is a legal resource center for Michigan's immigrant communities. MIRC works to build a thriving Michigan where immigrant communities experience equity and belonging.

Michigan Support Circle

Michigan Support Circle is a grassroots organization created to help support the reunification of families by providing rides, housing, clothing and other essentials once the families have been released.

Partners in Health

Partners in Health’s mission is to provide a preferential option for the poor in health care. By establishing long-term relationships with sister organizations based in settings of poverty, Partners In Health strives to achieve two overarching goals: to bring the benefits of modern medical science to those most in need of them and to serve as an antidote to despair.

SHARE Foundation

SHARE strengthens solidarity with and among the Salvadoran people in El Salvador and the United States in the struggle for economic sustainability, justice, and human and civil rights.

UNICEF

UNICEF works in the world’s toughest places to reach the most disadvantaged children and adolescents – and to protect the rights of every child, everywhere. Across more than 190 countries and territories, we do whatever it takes to help children survive, thrive and fulfill their potential, from early childhood through adolescence.

Washtenaw Congregational Sanctuary

Washtenaw Congregational Sanctuary is an interfaith coalition of congregations and unaffiliated individuals throughout Washtenaw County who have joined together to support immigrants and their families in our community.

Washtenaw Interfaith Council for Immigrant Rights

The Washtenaw Interfaith Coalition for Immigrant Rights is a volunteer-based group of community members committed to advocating for immigrants rights.
